Christmas Wedding Planner: This Hallmark movie is a super adorable romantic comedy! It's your typical girl meets boy and while she finds him repulsive, falls in love with him. The quirky, naive, but determined Kelsey is planning her first wedding which is already in jeopardy. The ex of the bride, Connor, involves himself too much in the occasion and trying to keep him from ruining her first job proves tricky for Kelsey as she is also trying to decipher if the groom really loves the bride. All of this becomes overwhelming but Kelsey's budding romance and desperation to pull off this wedding, no matter what obstacles appear, keeps her motivated! Honestly, any snowy, romantic Christmas movie, is a must see for me. I also love plots that involve a kind of mysterious, almost forbidden-love romance.
Christmas Crush:Aspiring fashion designer Georgia is so excited for her High School reunion because she gets the chance to reconnect with her high school sweetheart who may have been the one who got away. While being back home, and back in town with her caddy friends isn't ideal for Georgia, nothing will get in the way of her romantically planned reunion. And while she has to lie about her disappointing career and realize how awful her "friends" are, Georgia is also reunited with her best friend, Ben (Jonathan Bennett, Mean Girls) as they continue the same pranks and goofiness they did many years back. So even though her main priority, to pick things back up with her high school sweetheart, doesn't go as planned (among other things), Georgia finds out the true meaning of her high school years and which memories were worth it.
The Holiday: This one's a classic holiday movie. Starring Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz, this movie is about two women who switch homes for the holidays in an attempt to get away from their problems and spend some time in a completely new atmosphere. In making a spontaneous home swap, they find new hope, new adventures, and new love. And I think this movie is so relatable because we all come to a point where we just want to get away and go on an adventure especially when things in our personally lives have gone wrong. And we all wish we could find a happy ending as simple as this movie makes it seem!
Four Christmases: I watched this movie for the first time this year and I’m shocked I haven't seen it before because I love Vince Vaughn and I think Reese Witherspoon is a great actress too! This movie is sooo funny and adorable. It’s about a couple who ‘s holiday vacation to Fiji gets cancelled and forces them to spend the holidays with their crazy families. Not only are the visits hectic (you know how family can be) but the couple also learns things about each other that they never knew and in the end learn something important about their relationship. This movie was honestly cute and hilarious. There's so much mishap that happens it's hard to not laugh along!
