Rice milk is the most hypoallergenic of all milk products. If you're lactose intolerant, vegan, or have a nut allergy and can't drink soy or almond milk, then rice milk is for you! When I discovered rice milk i fell in love and drank it straight out of the carton in one day. Crazy, right? It's sweet and light and personally I find it a good alternative. I always felt Almond milk tasted weird in my cereal and when adding to certain recipes but rice milk has a lot less potent flavor so it pairs well in smoothies and with cereal, to name some.
Rice milk is unfortunately high in carbs so if you have diabetes or risk getting diabetes, you may have to avoid rice milk. There is also not as much protein or calcium as cow or soy milk. Still, rice milk has lots of antioxidants and vitamin B so if you can drink it, then now you know some benefits!
